Our Journey Start
Sarawak’s Pioneering Craft Beer
Our journey began in 2017, when we travelled to Singapore to learn the art of brewing. With that knowledge and passion, we returned home and launched IW Beer, crafting small batches and experimenting with unique flavours.
In 2018, we proudly introduced our beer at the Oktoberfest event in Kuching organised by tHe Spring, where Sarawakians had their first taste of our creation. Seeing people enjoy our beer was the moment we knew we wanted to go further.

Cougar Craft Beer
As we grew, we rebranded to Cougar Craft Beer, embracing a bolder identity. But when the pandemic hit, we were forced to pause operations—a tough chapter that reminded us just how much brewing meant to us.
After the pandemic, we returned stronger with a new name: Zebrew. Moving into a new brewing facility, we focused on quality, consistency, and creativity.
